 Rapper, Producer, Beat Maker, C.E.O, and video director Ramone Hill A.K.A BIGGSS does it all.Moving from Jamaica to Canada in 1996 to avoid a rough up bringing, BIGGS's Style Is like no other, Hip-hop but a little gutty, he's bringing something new to the game. Growing up listening to Biggie,Nas,Jay Z, Dr.Dre And Eminem. But it was Dr.Dre who caught his focus, the way every sound fits and flows, and he thought he could do that, he just fell in love with the Hip-hop music. Grade 8 is when he really got into writing music. he used to write over commercial beats because he couldnt find anybody who made beats or had any money to pay for studio time. But when he was introduced to Joe Browne by a friend in grade 9 is when this all started. He gave him a couple beats, not knowing how to write a song he tried and failed. The things that came out on the page just wasnt him, but it wasnt till he took BIGGS to his house and showed him how to make beats. He started to understand bars and the structure of how a song should sound. With no where to record he took a chance and bought a computer microphone and started recording over sound recorder on his computer, but not knowing what mixing, layering and the hard process with recording a song was things at the start didn't go so well. It wasn't until grade 10 when a friend gave him a bootlegged copy of Acid Pro is when he started to play around with the program recording songs and years of trail and error he started to understand the process. But with no love form his peers it was extremely hard to know if he was good or not, and if it was worth perusing a career in music. But when Joe Browne told him that I had skills and he liked his sound, and after getting props and advise by some local Hamilton rappers and producers by grade 12 and they showed him a great deal of respect is when he thought that he could make it, and hes been on the grind ever since. Putting in his dues has brought a great deal of hype to his name. Doing songs with local artist, as well as Hip-Hop heaveyweight up in commers Boogz Boogetz, Benny Blacc(the Smugglaz) Jigz Crillz, Don Connect(J-DuB). Repping 2 Crews Posted from all over the world Y.R.S.(Yung RockStarz) and The New I.N.T Connect. As well as as repping his own crew Full Block with child hood friends and close homies, he's turned it into a music group with beats productions, and pre mixing recording, as well as an up in coming film production group mainly for music videos. |
